From Old Recordings by Ivan Kozlovsky is a beautiful album that showcases the artistry of one of the greatest tenors of the 20th century. The album features recordings made by Kozlovsky between 1946 and 1956, and captures the essence of his vocal abilities during his prime.
The album features a range of operatic arias and songs, including some of Kozlovsky's most famous performances such as "La donna è mobile" from Verdi's Rigoletto, and "Nessun dorma" from Puccini's Turandot. The sheer power and beauty of Kozlovsky's voice is evident in every track, and his ability to convey the emotions of the music is unparalleled.
The recordings may be old, but they have been remastered to perfection, and the sound quality is excellent. Listeners will feel as though they are transported back in time to witness Kozlovsky's performances in person.

About Ivan Kozlovsky
Ivan Semyonovich Kozlovsky (19001993) was a Soviet and Russian lyric tenor and one of the most well known stars of Russian opera. Kozlovsky gave many concerts throughout the Soviet Union, singing Russian and Ukrainian songs and romances, as well as German lieder by Schubert, Schumann, and Liszt. He also appeared in the films Cossacks Beyond the Danube (1937) and Boris Godunov (1954), as well as in the documentary film Ivan Semenovich Kozlovskiy (1978).
Kozlovsky was also a producer and director of his own opera company, and longtime teacher at the Moscow Conservatory.
There are many variations of his name including: Иван Козловский in Russian, and Ivan Kozlovskiy or Kozlovskij in English.
